Should I expect any custom fees for orders outside the US?

You may be subject to additional customs fees, VAT, or GST, for which you will be responsible. We recommend checking with your local customs authorities for more information. However, we'll do our best to minimize these costs for you during shipping.

At full mining capacity, Heatbit Mini uses 400 watts. The energy consumed for mining turns into heat to keep you cozy on cool days (about 1023 BTU/h).

For extra warmth on colder days, we offer a heating boost up to 1,400 watts (about 4433 BTU/h).

During summer, when using Heatbit Mini solely for air purification, it consumes less than 50 watts.

Will my energy bill increase?

If you are already using a traditional heater, you shouldn't notice any increase in your energy bills. In fact, Heatbit customers have reported a reduction in electricity consumption when they switched from oil or baseboard heating systems.

How much space can Heatbit handle?

The coverage depends on various factors such as outdoor temperatures, window size and type, and insulation quality, among others. Generally, Heatbit can heat up to 400 square feet of space. We recommend having one in each room or using multiple Heatbits for larger areas.

Can it operate at 220-240V?

Heatbits are compatible with both North American (110-120V) and European (220-240V) voltage standards.

How often should I change the air-purifying filters?

Regularly replacing Heatbit's air filters greatly prolongs its lifespan. We advise changing the filter every 3 months and provide a lifetime warranty for users who adhere to these recommendations.

How does the “Equal split" plan work?

The Equal split plan lets you buy the Heatbit Mini at a significantly reduced price. You will get the same device, and it will generate the same amount of rewards as the Mini purchased with the Full Ownership plan.

Once your Shared Mini is up and running, we'll take 50% of the Bitcoin rewards. This sharing of mined bitcoins allows us to offer Heatbits at a lower price and continue developing innovative products.

How does the “Full Ownership” plan work?

The Full Ownership plan allows you to purchase the Heatbit Mini at full price and keep 100% of the Bitcoin rewards it generates starting from Day 1.

Which mining pool do you use?

Heatbits currently mine with Nicehash, but we plan to allow users choose their own mining pools in the future.

Is Heatbit Mini safe to have it running around children and pets?

Absolutely! The Heatbit Mini is designed to be safe for use around children and pets. In fact, we've found that pets love being near Heatbits.

What is the warranty on Heatbit?

We provide a lifetime warranty for customers who sign up for Auto-Refill and change Heatbit's filters every 3 months. For others, a standard 12-month warranty applies (link to full policy). Please keep the original packaging until the end of the warranty period. To make a warranty claim, contact our Customer Service Team at support@heatbit.com.
