Lottery Mining

What is lottery mining?

Bitcoin mining is a process where computers repeatedly try to guess a specific cryptographic value. The first computer to find the correct answer gets to lock the latest batch of transactions into Bitcoin’s public ledger and earns a block reward. This process repeats every 10 minutes.

Most miners join pools to combine their computing power and receive small, steady payouts based on how much work they contribute.

In lottery mining mode, your Heatbit goes solo, competing on its own against the rest of the network. Instead of steady payouts, it gets a chance to earn the entire Bitcoin block reward – currently around 3.125 BTC.

How much can I win?

If your Heatbit finds a block, you earn the full Bitcoin block reward, currently ~3.125 BTC, plus transaction fees.

What are the odds of winning?

The odds depend on overall network difficulty (how many miners are competing) and computing power of your Heatbit model.

More powerful models have better odds. For example, based on network conditions as of January 2026, Heatbit’s flagship Maxi Pro has 1 in ~225 chance per year when mining solo.

What matters most is how lottery mining differs from traditional lotteries.

• you’re not buying tickets – Heatbit automatically enters you to every “draw”

• you’re using energy you’d already spend on heating

Every second your Heatbit runs, it has a small but real chance of winning. And your odds don’t reset – every second your Heatbit runs, it has a small but real chance of winning

Has anyone actually won using solo mining?

Yes.

Over the past three years, 41 solo miners have successfully found Bitcoin blocks using hardware significantly less powerful than Heatbit devices.

Does lottery mining use more electricity?

No.

Lottery mining uses the exact same electricity and hardware as normal mining. There’s no extra energy consumption and no additional wear on your device.

You’re simply choosing a different reward structure.

Can I switch between lottery mining and normal mining?

Yes.

|You can switch between lottery mining and normal mining at any time in the Heatbit app. With Maxi models, you also would be able to split your mining - half to solo, half to pool.

What happens if I win?

If your Heatbit finds a block:

• the reward is credited directly to you

• Heatbit takes no fees

• you can transfer the Bitcoin to your own wallet immediately

You don’t need to claim anything — it happens automatically.
