About Heatbit devices
What is Heatbit, exactly?
Heatbit is a premium heater and air purifier – with a bonus.
A regular electric heater uses electricity to power heating coils, and all of that energy turns into heat.
Heatbit replaces coils with specialized patented computing hardware that performs Bitcoin mining calculations. Like any high-performance computer, this process naturally produces heat, which we use to warm your space.
The result:
• The same electricity consumption as a standard space heater.
• The same heat output.
• Bitcoin rewards earned as a byproduct.
In addition to heating, most Heatbit devices include high-grade HEPA filtration, keeping your air clean year-round, even when the heat is off.
How does Heatbit work?
Heatbit works like a normal electric heater from the outside – you plug it in, turn it on, and it produces heat.
The difference is what happens inside. Instead of heating coils, Heatbit uses specialized computing hardware that mines Bitcoin. Because computing energy always turns into heat, every watt used ends up warming your room.
Does Heatbit use more electricity because they mine Bitcoin?
No.
Heatbit devices use the same amount of electricity as comparable electric heaters. Bitcoin mining doesn’t add extra energy consumption — it’s the process that produces the heat in the first place.
If you already use an electric heater, Heatbit replaces that energy usage rather than increasing it.
Do I need to understand Bitcoin?
No.
Using Heatbit feels no different than using a regular heater. You plug it in, connect it to Wi-Fi, and it starts heating.
Bitcoin mining runs automatically in the background. There’s nothing you need to configure or manage unless you want to explore advanced options later in the Heatbit app.
What happens if Bitcoin’s price drops?
If the price drops, your mining rewards may be worth less in dollar terms at that moment.
Historically, when prices fall, network difficulty often adjusts, which can allow miners to earn more Bitcoin in absolute terms for the same amount of work. If prices rise later, the Bitcoin earned during lower-price periods increases in value.
Either way, you’re not relying on a single entry price – you’re accumulating Bitcoin over time. And regardless of market conditions, you still get the premium heat and clean air you paid for.
Can I win a whole Bitcoin block?
Yes, if you switch to lottery mining.
In lottery mining mode, your Heatbit mines solo instead of joining forces with other miners. Instead of steady payouts, it competes on its own for a chance to earn a full Bitcoin block reward (currently ~3.125 BTC, plus fees).
The odds depend on overall network difficulty (how many miners are competing) and computing power of your Heatbit model.
More powerful models have better odds. For example, based on network conditions as of January 2026, Heatbit’s flagship Maxi Pro has 1 in ~225 chance per year when mining solo.
Why not buy a cheap heater and Bitcoin for the price difference?
That approach works – but it comes with tradeoffs.
Cheap heaters are typically built with low-cost materials, rely on aggressive airflow that dries the air, and are designed as short-term consumables.
Heatbit is built as a long-term home appliance, using premium materials and solid-state computing hardware instead of disposable heating coils. The heating experience is often described as more comfortable, with more even warmth and no dry air.
From a Bitcoin perspective, buying outright requires deciding when to buy and at what price. Heatbit spreads that exposure over time by mining continuously, removing the need to time the market or make emotional decisions.
Heatbit doesn’t replace buying Bitcoin – it complements it. It turns a household expense you already have into long-term Bitcoin participation.
Does this make sense if electricity is expensive?
If electricity is expensive where you live, any electric heater will cost more to run – Heatbit included. Heatbit doesn’t change the price of electricity.
What it does change is what you get from that electricity.
If you’re already using electric heating, Heatbit replaces a regular heater while also participating in Bitcoin mining. That means some of the cost you’re already paying for heat can be partially offset with Bitcoin rewards.
If you don’t need heating at all, or you’re not using electricity for heat, Heatbit may not be the right fit.
Can Heatbit be tax-deductible in the US?
If you purchase Heatbit for business use – for example, to heat an office or workspace – it may be eligible for deduction or depreciation, similar to other equipment or appliances. Tax treatment depends on your specific situation.
Why does Heatbit ship in limited batches?
Demand for Heatbit has consistently exceeded immediate availability, so instead of keeping large amounts of inventory sitting in warehouses, we produce and ship in carefully planned batches. This allows us to focus on build quality, testing, and reliability rather than rushing units out the door.
Shipping in batches also makes logistics more efficient for a heavy product like Heatbit. Coordinating deliveries in groups allows us to work with freight carriers and regional distribution hubs, ensuring safer handling and more predictable delivery timelines.
Estimated ship dates are always shown on the product page and confirmed at checkout, so you know exactly what to expect before placing your order.
Why do Heatbits include air purification?
Because Heatbit is designed to be useful year-round, not just during the heating season.
Built-in HEPA filtration continuously cleans the air while Heatbit is running and can also operate in purification-only mode when you don’t need heat.
The filters capture up to 99.97% of airborne particles, including dust, pollen, and other common pollutants. Cleaner air improves comfort and well-being and also helps protect the device’s internal components over time.
Is Heatbit safe? Is it noisy?
Heatbit devices are designed specifically for home use, not data centers. All models are built as consumer appliances and are UL certified.
Noise levels vary by model and operating mode, but in everyday use, Heatbit blends naturally into a living environment — similar to premium heaters and air purifiers.
How much Bitcoin can I earn?
Bitcoin rewards depend on factors that change over time, including:
• network difficulty
• Bitcoin price
• your Heatbit model
• how long it runs
Because of this, exact numbers aren’t guaranteed. You can use our calculator to see realistic estimates based on current network conditions.
Regardless of rewards, Heatbit still delivers the heat and air purification you paid for. The Bitcoin earned is an added upside.
