What is Maxi?
Maxi is Heatbit’s core model – a premium electric heater and air purifier that also earns Bitcoin while it runs.
Like all Heatbit devices, Maxi replaces traditional heating coils with advanced computing hardware. That hardware performs Bitcoin mining calculations, and like any high-performance computer, it produces heat. That heat warms your space.
From the outside, Maxi behaves like a high-end space heater. The difference is what’s happening inside – and the added value it creates while heating.
Does Maxi use more electricity?
No.
Maxi uses the same amount of electricity as a comparable premium electric heater. Bitcoin mining doesn’t add extra consumption – it’s the process that produces the heat in the first place.
Because computing naturally turns electricity into heat, every watt used by Maxi ends up warming your room. If you already use an electric heater, Maxi replaces that energy use while adding a bonus on top.
Do I need to understand Bitcoin to use this?
Not at all.
Using Maxi feels no different than using a regular heater. You plug it in, connect it to Wi-Fi, and it starts heating.
Bitcoin mining runs automatically in the background. There’s nothing you need to configure or manage unless you want to explore advanced options. If you do, you can connect to different pools, mine solo, and customize your setup via Heatbit App.
How much can I earn with Heatbit Maxi?
Maxi operates at ~40 TH/s, delivering strong Bitcoin mining performance while staying within normal household power limits.
Bitcoin rewards depend on factors that change over time – including network difficulty, Bitcoin price, and how long your Maxi runs. Because of that, exact numbers aren’t guaranteed.
You can use our calculator to see realistic estimates based on current network conditions.
Regardless of rewards, Maxi still delivers the premium heat and air purification you paid for. The Bitcoin is an added upside that accumulates automatically while it runs.
How much space does Maxi heat?
Maxi is designed to heat rooms of up to ~400 sq ft, depending on insulation, ceiling height, and layout.
It operates at 1500W, producing approximately 5,120 BTU of heat – comparable to other high-end electric space heaters. In apartments, offices, and well-insulated rooms, a single Maxi Pro is often enough for comfortable heating. In larger homes, it’s typically used for zone heating, warming the rooms you use most.
Think of Maxi as a powerful, room-by-room heater rather than a whole-house system.
How does Maxi purify the air?
Air purification is always on with Maxi.
Whenever Maxi Pro is running – whether heating or in air-purification-only mode – it continuously pulls air through a HEPA filtration system. You don’t have to turn anything on or remember special settings.
Heatbit Maxi supports three filter options:
• Essential HEPA 12 for dust, pollen, and fine particles
• HEPA 12 + activated carbon for odors and VOCs
• HEPA 13 with carbon and silver-ion treatment for additional antimicrobial protection
Built-in VOC and particulate (PM) sensors monitor air quality in real time and automatically adjust filtration as needed.
Clean air isn’t just about comfort – it can improve sleep, focus, and overall well-being, while also helping protect the device’s internal components over time.
Is Maxi safe? Is it noisy?
Yes – Maxi is designed specifically for home environments, not data centers. It’s built as a consumer appliance and is UL certified.
Noise depends on operating mode:
• Around ~45 dB in lower modes (similar to a modern quiet fridge)
• Up to ~55 dB at maximum output (similar to a window AC unit)
In everyday use, Maxi is comparable in sound to a premium space heater or air purifier and blends easily into a normal living environment.
Why is Maxi more expensive than a regular heater?
Maxi is not a heater, it’s a new category of home appliance.
In a single device, Maxi combines:
• A premium electric heater
• A high-grade air purifier
• And the only home appliance that makes money automatically while it runs
It’s designed by Red Dot Award–winning designers and engineers with backgrounds in aerospace and high-performance computing. Instead of outdated heating coils, Maxi uses advanced solid-state computing hardware – the same class of energy-efficient chips found in modern smartphones and laptops – housed in premium materials like aviation-grade aluminum.
This isn’t incremental innovation. It’s a fundamentally different way of thinking about energy use at home.
While traditional appliances only consume electricity, Maxi turns the energy you’re already using into participation in the world’s fastest-growing digital network – quietly, automatically, and without changing how you heat your space.
Over time, the Bitcoin earned can pay for itself, something no other home appliance can do.
Can Maxi be tax-deductible in the US?
If you purchase Heatbit Maxi for business use – for example, to heat an office or workspace – it may be eligible for deduction or depreciation, similar to other equipment or appliances. Tax treatment depends on your individual situation.
